Lowell Brewing's American Saison in the glass.

Have you ever wanted to try brewing your own beer at home? You can! Join us for a fascinating workshop for first-time and experienced home brewers with Andrew Lowell of Lowell Brewing.

We will discuss, in detail, the process of brewing and the ingredients that are used at each step. With Andrew's scientific background, we can geek out on what is happening at each stage of the brewing process and why. There are thousands of different ingredients that can go into making a beer, so we will discuss the major differences in grain, hops, and yeast. We'll go over the equipment that that is used in both home brewing and commercial brewing. If you are looking for an in-depth discussion on brewing and what goes into the process, then come on by. Oh, did we mention we'll be brewing beer as well?!

Andrew is a fermentation scientist who has built a career in the biopharma and renewable biofuels industries, but his true passion is brewing. He's been brewing award-winning beers for over 15 years, and he loves the combination of art and science that builds every batch of beer.  Join us!
