Fall is the perfect time to improve your garden’s soil and get it ready for planting in spring. It’s also the time when we can evaluate our current season and make improvements for the future. It’s one of my favorite parts of the year.
Helen Skiba is the owner, farmer, and florist at Farmette Flowers, where she grows and designs for over 60 weddings per year. She has been flower farming and designing for 3 years at the Farmette, and is mostly self-taught. Helen is fortunate to have attended 2 workshops at Floret, one of the nation’s leading farmer-florist operations, and is continually seeking to improve her growing and design skills. As a farmer, her designs showcase the unique, natural beauty of flowers growing in the field.
