Jacaranda Farm Dinner
Join jacaranda and Forage Sisters on September 4th for an evening of live fire cooking showcasing tradition as well as technique shared by people in West Africa, the Americas and other parts of the world. Jacaranda is an ingredient driven food concept with a focus on West Africa coming to boulder this fall. Forage Sisters, based on the western slope, provides catering services for weddings and private parties, farm dinners and other experiences that inspires deeper connection to the origins of our food and each other. We will serve a vegetable heavy, multi coursed family style meal built around Colorado lamb raised in boulder county cooked Asado style with inspiration from Argentina with seasonal produce grown and foraged by our friends at the farmette, deer tree farm and other organic farms in the front range and western slope of Colorado. We will also incorporate spices and other ingredients that are native to or were domesticated in the western part of Africa as well as ingredients native to the Americas that are staples in the West African diet which include corn and peanuts.

Beverages ~ This farm dinner is also a benefit for Save our St. Vrain Valley. They will be selling wine and beer at the dinner for their organization. There will be a wonderful selection to complement the menu. Please do not bring your own wine or beer ~ you can plan on buying it here by the bottle or glass.
