Betsy and Mike started growing vegetables and flowers at the Farmette as soon as they moved in, and the farm has been growing ever since. We grow on about 1 acre and provide food for our local restaurants, farm dinners, and weddings. In 2017, the fields will mostly be used to grow magnificent organic flowers for our wedding design studio and local bouquet subscriptions, through Plume and Furrow.  We are an organic farm, and we are constantly applying new methods of soil improvement, rotation, and cultivation to make our land more productive. Each year we hire 2-3 interns to help us reach these goals, and we are always looking for able volunteers. We are curious and industrious, and we'll try anything once.
