Grant has been getting into the buzz of bees since the spring of 2013 when he took his first beekeeping class. Since then, he's been keeping hives on the Farmette and encouraging others in the community to fall in love with these hard-working honey makers. When he isn't working the flower fields you can find him watching the bees fly home to the hive after a long days work.
Attention all Homesteaders and Beekeeping Wannabees: We're hosting a Fall beekeeping introductory class for those interested in starting a hive in 2019. This class will be an exploratory into equipment, start-up costs, general beekeeping lingo, and package ordering information. Join us at 6PM on Tuesday October 16th to discover that you have what it takes to become a keeper of the bees. Class size is limited, so please sign up today. $25 each or bring a friend and get 2 tickets for $40.
