Wynne Reynolds is a mixed media artist. Her most recent show, FLUX, at Edge Galley in Denver, was a marriage of fiber and hardware. Incorporating her skills in fiber art and DIY, Wynne created works highlighting the contrast of hard and soft.
Wynne’s early education had a hands-on focus that left a lasting impression. She learned to crochet and went on to learn needle point, knitting, embroidery, Tunisian crochet, and needle felting. She has dabbled in natural dying, batik, and spinning. Last year, Wynne has taken up both sewing and weaving to expand her knowledge fiber art.
She teaches needle felting and Tunisian crochet at Fancy Tiger Crafts and other Denver venues. Wynne was recently featured in an article about needle felting by the Associated Press that was picked up by news outlets in the US and Canada, including Home and Garden and The Denver Post.
Learn to felt without water in three dimensions. Wynne Reynolds of Fancy Tiger Crafts will be teaching the techniques to make and take home your own little alpacas out of alpaca roving from the Farmette. Needle felting is fun and easy to learn. In the time it takes to watch a movie, you can create a little felted creature.
All materials provided. Three hour class includes a visit to the Farmette’s adorable alpacas.
