  • The Lyons Farmette 4121 Ute Highway Lyons, CO, 80540 United States (map)

Class Description:

It is no question that Handsome Love Calligraphy’s alphabet is non-traditional. In her alphabet design, Camille, with Handsome Love Calligraphy, has given permission to others pursuing a passion in calligraphy to create an alphabet that is personal to them unrestricted by the constrains of tradition. In her Brush Lettering Workshop, she introduces her students to basic ink to paper pressure and flow techniques. She walks through the alphabet teaching her students basic font patterns providing each guests the building blocks and tools to begin connecting letters together and begin their own modern journey.

Two years ago, if you had told me I could pursue this as a career, I would have laughed because what a dream it would be to truly commit to doing something like this for a career! And here I am today, and I have the pleasure of teaching what I am most passionate about in the world.

Handsome Love Calligraphy has been a huge learning experience for me. It has been a lot of learning the importance of time management. A lot of learning my way around this crazy digital world we live in. And ultimately, a lot of learning that there is always, always a way to work around obstacles. I should say, most importantly, that I’ve learned I am surrounded by so many people who continually love and support me and my business. It is these people in my life that have been the bogey that has kept this company afloat. For that I am infinitely grateful.

Only my bestest friends would describe me as a total nerd. I love to curl up with a good dystopian of fantasy novel. If I was stranded on a deserted island, I would happily commit to eating poke for the rest of my life. In fact, I am pretty sure I would be pretty content on a deserted island for a very solid amount of time because I am in love with the ocean, the jungle, and could spend the rest of my days in the waves.  My best friend is a dog named “Motto”. I find myself wondering all day long what he could possibly doing in this very moment. I am extremely passionate about the arts and have a background in design and digital marketing which has all aided in the birth and growth of this company.
